At Hillcrest Baptist Church we value the safety of our children. This is why we chose KidCheck as the check-in solution for our Children’s Ministry. We will be using this check-in program for all of our children’s programs. Check-in is quick and easy using the KidCheck app.
If you haven’t already created your free account, you can go to the KidCheck Website and create your account. You can also download the KidCheck Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play Store to create, manage, and update your account right on your mobile device.
Keep these things in mind when setting up your account:
- When adding children, please be sure to complete all the information about each child.
- Make sure you choose “Hillcrest Baptist Church” for the Organization.
- Please be sure to include any allergy or medical information we may need to know (e.g., allergic to milk, asthmatic, diabetic, etc.).
- Make sure you allow texting and save the changes.
- You only need one account for your family. In your account, you can name everyone who is authorized (or who is NOT authorized) to pick up your child.
Creating your account ahead of time helps us have a smooth transition and helps your first check-in go quicker so you can get on your way. We also have trained people who can help you set up an account at the check-in station.
Once you’ve created your account, you can check in at the check-in station located in our preschool hallway. Labels needed for each child along with a Guardian Receipt, which is used for picking up your child, will be printed. You can choose to print multiple labels if needed.
Each time you check-in, you will receive a random code printed on each label. This means that the code on the Guardian Receipt will match the code on the child’s labels.
We will also be using KidCheck Express Check-In, which allows you to check-in right from your own phone. You will need to check-in for the first time with your 10-digit phone number at the check-in station.
After that first check-in, you can use Express Check-In, using these few simple steps:
- Download the KidCheck App (as noted above).
- Start check-in on your phone - from home, the car, the parking lot, etc.
- Complete check-in upon arrival by tapping the green submit button on your phone.
- Pick up your printed name tag and guardian receipt labels at the check-in station.
